Simple Bundle Deals

Create one simple mix-and-match bundle discount with product tags.

Simple Bundle Deals is a small Shopify app for merchants who want one easy automatic bundle discount without a large promotion suite. Tag one group of eligible products, choose the minimum quantity, choose the discount, and Shopify applies the saving in cart and checkout.

Simple Bundle Deals costs $4.99 per month.

What it does

- Creates one automatic Shopify Function discount for your store.
- Uses the product tag simple-bundle-deal to choose one eligible product group.
- Lets you set a minimum eligible item quantity.
- Supports percentage off eligible items.
- Supports fixed amount off each eligible item.
- Discounts only tagged products in mixed carts.
- Keeps untagged products at full price.
- Lets you disable and re-enable the rule from the app.
- Works without editing theme code.

What it does not do

Being clear about scope saves setup time:

- It does not create fixed Shopify bundle products.
- It does not add a visual bundle builder to your product page.
- It does not create multiple bundle groups in V1.
- It does not create multiple campaign rules in V1.
- It does not run free gift, wholesale, customer-group, or tiered discount campaigns.
- It does not change product prices in Shopify admin; it applies an automatic discount in cart and checkout.

Requirements

- Products that can be tagged in Shopify admin.
- Permission to manage discounts.
- A storefront and checkout where Shopify automatic discounts can apply.

Setup

1. Install the app.
2. Add the tag simple-bundle-deal to every product that should count toward the bundle.
3. Open Simple Bundle Deals in Shopify admin.
4. Choose the minimum eligible item quantity.
5. Choose percentage off or fixed amount off each eligible item.
6. Enable and save the bundle deal.
7. Test a cart with tagged products before relying on the rule for live orders.
