These terms apply to the use of ID_within Simple Password Lock, a Shopify app built by ID_within.
What the app does
ID_within Simple Password Lock lets merchants add a shared password lock to selected storefront paths, product pages, collection pages, or the whole storefront. Merchants can add exclusions for paths that should remain accessible.
Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for choosing appropriate locked paths, excluded paths, customer-facing messages, and password settings.
For checkout protection, merchants are responsible for marking protected products with the required product metafield and enabling the Shopify checkout validation rule.
V1 limitations
The app uses one shared password per shop. It does not provide customer-tag rules, email allowlists, per-page passwords, secret links, or full access-control automation in V1.
Availability
We aim to keep the app available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Shopify, theme, checkout, or third-party app changes may affect storefront behaviour.
Billing
Billing is managed through Shopify App Pricing. If a paid plan is active, charges are handled by Shopify.
